After years of management experience working for Hewlett-Packard Germany and SAP, Dirk Pfeiffer became a member of general management in the software industry in the USA. Following his return to Europe, Dirk and his wife, Claudia Schmid, founded Qnamic.


Dr. Claudia Schmid

Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Qnamic Inc.

After a leading development function at SimSci Inc., Brea, USA, Claudia Schmid joined Skyva Inc. in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. In this position, she played a deciding role in the development of software based technology and planning and optimisation logic, which is the foundation of today's RailOpt products.


Dr. Norbert Bensel
1947, German citizen, Dr. rer. nat.
Independent Consultant

Norbert Bensel has worked in several capacities for personnel development and management guidance in the Schering Group, R+V Insurance, Daimler-Benz Aerospace and later became a member of the board at Daimler-Benz InterServices. He was then member of the board responsible for HR at Deutsche Bahn. Following this, he was member of the board at DB Mobility Logistics and managed all activities in the areas of transport and logistics. Norbert Bensel is currently an independent consultant.


Hans Flury

Hans Flury joined ex BLS Lötschberg in 1988 as Manager of Controlling. He had previously performed several functions at the SBB General Direction. Since 1995, he has been part of the general management at BLS, responsible for finances and business development. He is also Deputy Director and has been part of the board for pension funds at BLS since 2002.
