BLS Inc. requires “Driver-Daily-Order”-Document BLS Inc. wants its own “Daily-Order”-Document for drivers and entrusted Qnamic Inc. to find a solution. Until now, loco drivers in Switzerland receive shift several sheets of paper for every shift, on which they have to seek for the relevant data. Information concerning tracks is issued by the SBB (Swiss federal railway operator). Furthermore, this track information is always related on a whole year. The excess of paper documents for BLS’s loco drivers shall be brought to an end. It is planned to have a single document on a daily basis with all relevant information, including SBB’s infrastructure information. With his document, a loco driver is able to see at one glance which train type he will drive on which track with the exact time for driving and stops, speed per line section, braking distance as well as all eventualities such as construction sites or interruptions on the line. In the first phase of this project between BLS Inc. and Qnamic Inc., the aim is to integrate all the necessary data on one single paper where the infrastructure data of SBB is implemented directly. In the second phase it is planned to provide BLS’s loco drivers with the relevant information also electronically. |
