Next to the constant expansion in user-friendliness, Release 3.1.0 contains the following major changes: Additional Modules: Web-based Absence Manager to integrate employees’ wishes for absences (e.g. resting days, vacation) Real-time interface with operations management, so that delayed trains are considered Functional Expansion: Individual Project-backup and project-restore Automatic updating of qualifications based on their performed services RailMap: graphically view rail topology and edit specific personnel qualifications (such as route proficiency) Additional Work-time Rule Checks: Creation of work-time rule groups to check various work-time rule configurations for different types of personnel Additional possibilities to check long-term rules in the form of graphic and tabular reports Reports: New standard reports and expanded report functionality (e.g. automatic backups of reports) Improved overview and configuration of tabular and graphic reports Marc Schaffert, Vice President of Product Management, is extremely pleased with the release of RailOpt® 3.1.0: „Our customer’s positive feedback proves that we are on the right track with our approach of constantly expanding functionality based on customer input.” Qnamic Inc.’s Development Department is already working hard on the expansions for the next release in the autumn of 2008.
