Guest Presentation: SAP at the InnoTrans08 In the transport market, being equipped for the future requires resource management and planning software that can meet new and unforeseen challenges. “New Strategies for Resource Planning in the Transport Industry” was the topic on which Michael Diehl, Director of Railway Industry in the area Industry Business Development at SAP, held a presentation on the third day of the fair at Qnamic Inc.’s exhibit. Qnamic Inc. feels honoured that Michael Diehl, in his function at SAP, held the presentation for an interested audience. The suggestion of using Qnamic as a partner for a two-vendor strategy in this market confirmed Qnamic’s strategy of Intelligent Resource Management. SAP can look back on 20 years of experience in the railway sector, around 250 railway operators in the areas passenger- and cargo- transport, but also infrastructure and urban transport use SAP solutions. According to Michael Diehl, in the future railway operators must set their sights on efficient resource planning and optimisation. |
