BLS Presentation at InnoTrans Reduction of planning efforts, better utilisation of rolling stock, heightened productivity of personnel, as well as cost transparency and improved management decisions - these are some the most impressive successes brought about by RailOpt which Hans Flury, Deputy Director and CFO of BLS AG, addressed during his presentation at Qnamic’s stand at the InnoTrans. To intelligently solve the problem of resource planning, a system must cover the entire planning process, consider the resources simultaneously, make the data available for controlling, and allow for the integration with other systems. With his statements, Hans Flury hit the nerve of railway employees and completely received the audience’s attention at the Qnamic stand. “Intelligent Resource Management enables Train Operating Companies to achieve sustainable success”, was Hans Flury’s official opinion. At the beginning Hans Flury’s presentation on the third day of the fair, the stand was already particularly crowded, since the Swiss delegation of railway journalists was present.
