RailOpt Update for Qnamic Customers A new year brings new requirements. For train operating companies, the new year brought several changes in federal and company regulations or adaptations to salary accounting. To meet the new requirements of railway companies, Qnamic Inc. has released an update for the software RailOpt outside of the regular release cycle. With the update, railway companies can meet new demands quicker, for instance in sensitive areas such as work-time rule checking or salary exports with RailOpt. Marc Schaffert, Vice President Product Management at Qnamic, sees an additional customer benefit in the update: “Our customers save an enormous amount of time using the update because manual post processing or detailed rule checking no longer exists.” Südostbahn SOB (Switzerland) plans its employees and rolling stock with the help of RailOpt, all the while considering work-time rules and tracking data for salary calculations. Urs Oberholzer, Project Manager at SOB, is impressed: “The update allowed us to quickly make adjustments ordered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement without hassle.” |
