Qnamic Inc. sets accents at the logistics fair ‘Innotrans’ in Berlin For four days, the fair for transport and logistics in Berlin opened its doors to transport specialists from around the world. Also present is Qnamic, located in Hägendorf, Switzerland. With a stand sized 160 square meters, decorated in a very relaxing manner, the company’s exhibit was the ‘place to be’ on the ca. 150’000 square meters of fairgrounds. A software company from Hägendorf (Switzerland) set accents at the Innotrans in Berlin (Germany). Amongst the 1912 Exhibitors from 41 countries, it was important to shine not only through superb software products, but also through a unique exhibit. Qnamic Inc. placed its bets on entertainment, culinary specialties and bistro-deco, which made for a relaxing island in a sea of hectic. Unique Software for Train Operating Companies Already on the first day of the fair, the stand was very popular. In an inviting environment, the visitors received information about Qnamic’s software products. Using the software RailOpt, train operating companies plan personnel and rolling stock simultaneously under consideration of all work-time rules. In times of liberalization in the transport industry and the growing demand for safety, RailOpt offers efficiency and transparency. At the end of the planning process, the plan and actual data is available to the operator. Visitor Magnet with liquid Art Qnamic’s presence at the fair was as unique as its product. The Motto “20/20 Management Vision through Accurate Data” was put into scene by using chladni audio figures. The sound waves created by a cello player were transmitted to a basin filled with water, causing actual waves in extraordinary patterns. At the various computer stations, visitors had the chance to get to know RailOpt and be instructed by Qnamic’s team. Employees from transport companies across the globe took up the offer and were amazed at the graphical user interface and the program’s ease of use. Visit from the Swiss Ambassador On the third day of the fair, everything stood in the sign of Switzerland. Hans Flury, Director of Finances and Deputy CEO of the BLS AG, held a presentation about sustainable success in the railway business at Qnamic’s stand. Also, the Swiss Ambassador in Berlin, Christian Blickenstorfer, visited the exhibit and was greatly pleased with the Swiss-oriented exhibit using trees, wooden floors and rocks. InnoTrans as Leading Transport Trade Fair The Innotrans takes place every two years and has established itself as the leading trade fair for transport and logistics. Qnamic Inc. was present for the third time and uses the fair to exchange ideas with representatives of the transport industry, as well as a presentation platform for its new products.
